Adults of all ages are invited to join St. James “Prime Timers” . . . and share the “prime time” of life!
Built on the heritage of the original St. James Seniors Club founded more than 40 years ago, we regard every day as “prime time,” keeping mentally and physically active, and cherishing each day as a gift from God.
With over 100 members active members (there is room for many more), we are men and women; married and single; parishioners and non-parishioners; Catholic & non-Catholic who vary in interests, physical abilities, ethnicity and ages (currently 51 to 90+). We come together as a loving and supportive “family” unit that emphasizes faith, fellowship, charity and service within a social and spiritual environment.
Our monthly luncheon programs feature entertainment or guest speakers who discuss topics of interest to seniors and are held September through June in the Cathedral Social Hall.

Happy New Year – Prime Timers!
Join St. James Prime Timers at their luncheon on Monday, January 16 at 1 PM in the Social Hall.
You will be entertained by Sgt. Adam Casebolt, a member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Pipes & Drums. Be ready to realize your toes are tapping to the stirring Scottish music!
Reservations are required no later than Monday, January 9.
To reserve your spot, phone Mary Alice at 407-423-4433 and leave a message. Cash donations for lunch will be accepted at the door.
Voluntary annual “dues” of $12 are appreciated, and cash donations are accepted for monthly luncheons. A committee of member volunteers is responsible for planning luncheon programs and menus, along with handling food preparation, serving and clean-up. They also arrange any other activities that might be scheduled during the year.
All members are encouraged to help in any way they can – and assistance from “non-senior” volunteers is always welcome!
