More than 28 years ago, the Souper Bowl of Caring began with a simple prayer from a single youth group. “Lord, even as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those without a bowl of soup to eat.”

Beginning THIS WEEKEND January 27/28 through Super Bowl Sunday (Feb 4), our youth will collect nonperishable food items to be donated to St. Vincent De Paul’s food pantry.

We will be competing with neighboring parish’s to see who collects the most items.

Fr. Tom at St. John Vianney, is hoping to double their items from last year and Fr. John Gil has challenged his parish (Holy Family) to beat the Cathedral!!

Help the Cathedral regain the title of top donors!

We have just 2 weekends to do this, drop your non-perishable items in the donut room, entrance of the Cathedral and at the top of the stairs if you are heading down to the classrooms.
