Authentic Christian life is possible with the help of Christ’s grace.

Are you a Young Adult in your 20’s and 30’s, married or single, and been looking for a ministry in your parish? Well, we have a home for you! Come share your faith with others your age by joining us Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm in the Social Hall.

Come have fun and enjoy social time with those who share the same beliefs as you. This ministry brings young adults closer to Christ, enriching them in the fullness of Catholic faith and spirituality. Our events and activities are centered on four pillars: spiritual, social, faith formation and service.

Young Adults of St. James Cathedral was formed in August 2012 in response to a long-unmet need for a parish group that ministers to young parishioners in their 20s and 30s, both single and married. Since its formation, the Young Adults ministry has involved members in a variety of social, spiritual, faith and service activities, including dinner and movie nights, a canoe trip at Wekiwa Springs, a night of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, presentation of the “Catholicism” DVD series produced by the Rev. Robert Barron, and participation in Catholic Relief Services’ 1 Million Meals Challenge to package food to ship to Burkina Faso.
